Recently whilst doing some research I noticed the Braun T3 pocket radio and Apple iPod (image below) have some very similar features. Since then I've been able to collect a lot more examples!
The similarities between products from Braun and Apple are sometimes uncanny, others more subtle, but there's always a common root that provides the new Apple objects not only with a beautiful simplicity but also with a close familiarity.

A lot of people would probably call these examples a "rip-off" but, in a world where product design and art are constantly being recycled, I think Apple's products are a great evolution to classic concepts.
